ICC Issues Arrest Warrant for Putin on War Crime Allegations

The International Criminal Court (ICC) on Friday issued arrest warrants for Russian President Vladimir Putin and another Russian official over his alleged involvement in the abduction of Ukrainian children and teenagers. Why it matters: The cases represent some of the first international charges issued since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
